Please make sure you’re sending out your emails and posting those links on social media to get donations from friends and family. Right now we’re on track to make about half of what we did last year! We’re all hoping to see a surge in these next few days. You may have heard in the news that the governor’s budget predicts a large shortfall in funds for schools. We will need every penny this year and next year to continue to have all these extra activities the PTC pays for.

One small change, the 4th & 5th graders start time has been moved up from 10:40 to 10:20.

Thanks to all those who have signed up to volunteer. Even if you haven’t signed up to volunteer, if you show up the day of the event, we can really use your help. Come down in comfy running clothes, run a lap or two with the students, and then help us mark laps, handout oranges, water, and help keep the kids on the right path. The running path this year is a lot more complicated because of the construction.

It’s going to be a warm day on Friday. We need shade canopies of all sizes. We need volunteers to help set up starting at 7AM and people who will be around later for the 4th & 5th graders too.

It’s going to be a great time with a DJ, water misters, and a fun time for the children.

See Jog-a-Thon event page for more details.
