McKinley Elementary is a public school that provides an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and a myriad of enrichment programs. However, state and local funding do not support these additional opportunities. To bridge the gap between public funding and the resources needed, the PTC commits to raising the necessary funds to provide a high value enrichment program.

In the 2021/2022 school year, McKinley PTC must raise approximately $160,000 to fund weekly Spanish lessons for grades K-2 and enrichment classes such as music, ceramics, garden, and art. Funds raised are also used for buses for field trips, certain software and additional training not covered by the district and volunteer led events that make attending McKinley a memorable experience for students.

With close to 500 students, it costs about $320 per student to provide these great programs. We know that many people are struggling in this economy, so we sponsor and organize a variety of ways families can support fundraising efforts throughout the year.  Please see the list below to identify ways you can support fundraising at McKinley.
