We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the 62nd Annual McKinley Variety Show on Sunday, March 17!
Our theme for this year’s Variety Show is “Off Broadway!” Have something original in mind? Are you thinking of performing with your friends or are you going for a solo? Maybe you are planning to do a skit? Or perhaps you want to show off your juggling or comedy skills? This is your opportunity to show us your talents!
All McKinley students in grades K-5 are invited to perform, and all McKinley students, staff and parents are invited to attend the show. 5th grade students are also invited to audition for emcee, host, and group lead roles as well as stage crew.
If your child wishes to perform in the Variety Show, please review the Q&A page of information and follow the steps listed in that section to participate. Students interested in participating must register online by Thursday, February 15th at midnight (deadline extended). Auditions will be held in the auditorium on February 7th, 13th, 14th and 20th (new date). Please see the registration and Q&A pages for more details.
There will also be a big group performance for any 5th graders who would like to participate. If you would like to be a part of the 5th grade big group performance, you may also perform in a solo/group act, or you can just join the Variety Show for the big 5th grade group number. Either way, register for the show before midnight on Thursday, February 15th. There will be 2 – 3 additional rehearsals for this performance, dates and times TBD.
