Calling all McKinley families! Grab a blanket and a picnic and join your friends and neighbors at the Joint Use Park for a free night of dancing, treats and a movie under the stars.
Student Dance Party
Before the movie starts, join our 2nd student-led dance party! Arrive early to grab your spot, meet friends, request a song from our DJ table and dance.
5th Grade Concessions
Our 5th graders will be running concessions with snacks, drinks and other special treats. Every purchase helps pay for 5th grade activities. They accept cash and Venmo.

| Where | The Joint Use Park (“the JUP”) is the big grass field at the south end of McKinley’s campus, along Palm Street (school address: 3045 Felton Street, San Diego, CA 92104). It doubles as a city park, open to neighbors after school and on weekends. Enter through either the Felton Street or Palm Street gate; both will be open. View on a map |

| Plot | The Minions head to 1920s Hollywood and become overnight movie stars. When the “talkies” arrive, their popularity drops because they only speak Minionese. Two renegade Minions use a magic spellbook to summon monsters for their own film. They accidentally unleash real chaos and must team up to save the planet. |
