SoNo Fest Chairperson: BRIJET MYERS (2 year term, 2018 & 2019)

SoNo Fest Co-Chairs: JEAN RIVALDI & SHARI DAVID

SoNo Fest Chairperson Trainee: FLORENCE & MATT NAULT (CHAIR 2020 & 2021)

Shadow chairs in any/all tasks pertaining to SoNo Fest in order to take over as Chairperson for the 2020 and 2021 events. This can be an individual or 2-3 people as co-chairs.

Work all set-up hours (5 am-12 pm) on the day of event. Coordinating rental delivery, vendor and chili persons arrival, any setup tasks to get the event off and running.

Sponsorship Sales Team: JEAN RIVALDI & SERENA PATTERSON

Start NOW. Sell sponsorship packages and swag bag sponsorships. You will be provided with a list, but also need team members who will build list and approach outside businesses. No sales experience necessary- but helpful if you are outgoing, have a professional attitude and are not sensitive to rejection.

Community Chili Chairperson: CARRIE MORALES

Coordinate all tasks related to the Community Chili Event that happens the day before SoNo Fest. This can be a McKinley parent OR neighborhood resident. This position is open to one person or a team of people. You will be trained by the former chairperson.

This sub-event would do well to have a small committee of its own.

Restaurant Committee: POLINA CHEREVICHNAYA & BETSEY ZBYSZYNSKI

Coordinate all chili competitors- recruit, fill out forms, get health department requirements from participants, manage Text to Vote, manage chili judges, manage trophies for all chili winners. Help with all tasks related to chili competitors / restaurants / judging.

Public Relations: JEAN RIVALDI & SARA DUNBAR

Social Media: SARA DUNBAR

Work with Brijet to post to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on regular basis promoting the event, our sponsors and chili competitors, music line up, T-32 businesses, booze donors, etc.

T-32 Business Liaison: MATT NAULT

Printing (signage, marketing material), website updates

Merchandise Management: LAURA BLOUNT & MATTHEW RIVALDI

Keep track of shirt, hat, bag, etc inventory. Track sales and re-orders. Arrange sales days at McKinley and other events. Coordinate and manage merchandise sales at event.

Promotional Material Distribution: OUTSOURCED

Distribute fliers and posters at surrounding businesses, etc. Work promo booths at other events leading up to SoNo.

Day-of Volunteer Coordinator Chairperson: BRIDGETTE TULLIS

Day-of Volunteer Coordinators: BRIDGETTE TULLIS, PAULINE TREVINO

Help get parents and community members to sign up for the many volunteer shifts. Track, remind, and help get them set up on day-of.

Equipment & Rentals: ROGER MORRISON & MATT DOHNER

Tents/tables/chairs, stage, fencing, dumpster, porta-potty, No Parking signage, barricade rentals- coordinate all ordering, delivery of and return of various rented equipment.

Kids Area: JULIA SANCHEZ

Coordinate all Kids Area activities, vendors, rentals. Coordinate volunteers for Kids Area.

Music Coordinator: KOUTA SHIMAZAKI

Stage Coordinator, Music Assist: ROGER MORRISON

Help coordinate band line up with Kouta, get bands their swag bags and help them set up / break down. Take care of band personnel. Work with MCs. Manage stage electric & power

Beer Garden Chairperson: JIM SAKRISON

Beer Garden Chairperson Trainee: AARON EPSTEIN

Line up all booze donations, help arrange map, signage, set-up / breakdown, book and manage security

Handmade Vendors & Food Trucks Chairpersons: ALEXIS MOWAT & FLORENCE NAULT

Manage all vendor applications, decide who participates, collect payment in advance, book all food trucks, place all vendors and truck day-of event.

Neighborhood Liaison Chairperson: SHARI DAVID & MATT NAULT

Knock on doors of residents affected by the event footprint, get signatures. Help give goodwill to the neighbors, manage gift pack distribution to neighbors.
