Is your student excited about their new EXCEL Library Card? The EXCEL card lets kids borrow up to 3 books from any San Diego Public Library location!
If you’re feeling left out, good news: September is Library Card Sign-Up Month! Head to your local branch (or just go online) and get your public library card — no fees, no fuss! And if you’ve misplaced your card, the reissue fee is waived this month.
Your child can have both an EXCEL card AND a public library card. Why get both? With a public library card, you and your child can:
– borrow 100 books at a time — each!
– borrow e-books, magazines, DVDs, CDs… even portable electronics!
– get free day passes to several of San Diego’s biggest attractions, including the New Children’s Museum, Museum of Us, the San Diego Museum of Art, Children’s Discovery Museum, Skateworld, and the Zoo!
– pick from a bunch of card designs — Sonic the Hedgehog, Odi the Coyote, San Diego Padres.
