Congratulations! McKinley Kids were recognized at the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) “Power of Possible” Awards for our 3rd place showing in LLS San Diego/Hawaii’s 2019 “Pennies for Patients” campaign. Together, we donated $7,149 to LLS research in finding the cure for blood cancers and to improve the quality of life for patients & their families.
Our “Pennies for Patients” goal for 2020 is $7,500.
Please bring your “Pennies for Patients” collection boxes back to school on Monday, March 9. ALL donations, pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, are welcome. Cash and checks (made out to “Leukemia and Lymphoma Society”) are also accepted.
