Good news! Almost a year after our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, the grass and soil issues have been resolved and our Joint Use Park is now open for community use as of 3:30 yesterday!
The gates dividing the park from our school will be unlocked at 3:30pm everyday (30 minutes after school day ends) and will be secured 30 minutes BEFORE school starts every day (8:00am).
Other schools have encountered a “pet poop” issue with their joint use parks. (Sorry folks. Delicate language doesn’t serve to adequately convey how much of a problem this can be.) We pride ourselves on being a community like no other. I’m hopeful this translates into our collective community use of our new park.
Your patience is so appreciated. Please join us on the grass any afternoon!
Your Principal,
Deb Ganderton
