McKinley Elementary is a public school that provides an accredited International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and a myriad of enrichment programs. However, state and local funding do not support these additional opportunities. To bridge the gap between public funding and the resources needed, the PTC commits to raising the necessary funds to provide a high value enrichment program.
PTC fundraisers help bridge the gap between public funding and McKinley’s IB program needs, teacher and student support, enrichment activities, and more. Without the generous donations from the community at McKinley, these programs would not exist.
With over 600 students, it costs about $360 per student to provide these great programs. We know that many people are struggling in this economy, so we sponsor and organize a variety of ways families can support fundraising efforts throughout the year. Please see the list below for the primary fundraising events at McKinley.
