Get ready for smelly erasers and kitty posters, folks! McKinley’s Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the library next week (April 15-19). Here is how to prepare (brace) yourself…

Next Steps:

  • Create an eWallet in order to make your student’s visit to the Book Fair run smoothly. Cash is also accepted, but eWallet is preferred. No checks please. During family hours we accept credit cards. There is no tax on our book sales, and any unused funds in a student’s eWallet will never expire and can be used online or at a later Book Fair
  • Look out for the Scholastic flyer coming home this week. Students can create a book wish list to bring with them if they would like.

When students arrive during their Book Fair class visit, each student will also receive a “Book Ticket” good for a free book. This is made possible by the Scholastic dollars we earn buying books during the Fair.

If you are unable to contribute to an eWallet for any reason, please send an email to the Book Fair Committee Chair at rach.levin@gmail.com with just the student’s name and class (no additional details needed). It is the committee’s priority to ensure that every student has a positive experience at the Book Fair.
