This spring, McKinley will have its own Smash Bros Ultimate team in the YMCA of San Diego Esports League! Esports is competitive online gaming where players work together as a team to level up their skills. Players ages 8-12 participate in meaningful play in a structured, safe, online environment while developing their collaboration, teamwork, and leadership skills. The 10-week program is run by certified YMCA staff on campus at McKinley. Equipment will be provided for participants. Space is limited to 14 participants.

Cost: $75 for YMCA members / $90 for nonmembers for 10 weeks (Financial assistance is available through the Y’s Access Scholarship Program for qualified applicants).
Ages: 8-12
When: Thursdays from April 6-June 8 at 12:30pm-1:30pm
Where: McKinley Elementary, Room 2.
