Fall art classes are beginning Wednesday September 21st at Expressive Arts @ 32nd & Thorn.
Doll making, Painting and Mixed Media will kick off the year.
This is a 6 week series on Wednesdays.
Wednesdays 3:30 – 4:45
Grades 1st – 4th
Session I: Yarn Wrapped Dolls & Mixed Media/ 6 Weeks
Make back-to-school dolls and their clothes with a simple method and learn basic hand
sewing skills. Then we’ll collage a Halloween monster, paint
a spooky moon lit night and make monster paper dolls.
Kids will learn basic drawing, composition, and color layering as they invent their own ideas.
Dates: September 21, 28 – Skip Oct 5 – Oct. 12, 19, 26, Nov 2
Session II: Drawing, Painting and Mixed Media / 6 Weeks
We’ll paint turkeys, barn yard animals with cardboard stands and then some
Classic holiday themes: snowmen, winter trees, and Hannukah candles. But all with a twist!
Watercolor, acrylic, and specialty papers. Basic drawing and color skills will continue to develop.
Dates: Nov. 9, 16, – Skip Nov 23 – Nov 30, Dec. 7, 14 , 21

Fee per Session: $ 180 plus $15 for supplies
