Summer 2022 Screen Printing Workshop for Kids
McKinley parent Gina Grossini-Concha, from Heart and Soul Printing, will be offering screen printing classes this summer for students in grades 2-5. Sessions are weekly and take place from Monday-Friday, from 1pm-4pm. All classes will be held within a private outdoor classroom in the Spanish Village Arts Center.
Students will be learning different methods of screen printing, gelli printing, block printing, and cyanotype printing. The class will be taking daily natural walks through Balboa Park to gather leaves and printable items as well as take pictures for a cyanotype printing project later in the week.
Space is limited to 8 students per weekly session. Cost is $190 per session + $5 supply fee.
