The McKinley Spring Gala is a family-friendly scavenger hunt and online auction. COVID safety inspired us to create a hybrid event with an opportunity for participants to “see” each other safely outdoors in the neighborhood.

On Saturday, April 30, we need the students, families, and friends of McKinley to come participate in a special SUPERHERO scavenger hunt. Your very important MISSION is to scour the McKinley universe to find the missing Infinity Stones while helping us raise money for your school’s Art and Wheel programs.

These stones represent:
Yellow – Mind (Spanish)
Red – Reality (Ceramics)
Orange – Soul (Music)
Purple – Power (Art)
Blue – Space (Dance)
Green – Time (Garden)

The scavenger hunt will take place in our neighborhood, starting right here at McKinley. You can strike out on a solo mission or form teams of superheroes (up to four adults and unlimited kids)! And parents, if any of you participated in last year’s Gala game, we have designed this one to be more at the level of our elementary-aged superheroes!

Tickets are on sale NOW!!

Superheroes Assemble! And let’s find these missing Infinity Stones!

EVENT DETAILS:
Saturday, April 30th
Scavenger Hunt start window 11am – 1pm
* Note: You will need one smart-phone/device per team to participate in the scavenger hunt.

This event will also include an online auction so parents can help by contributing items or bidding on items. Our auction is a unique combination of items – with gifts and services from neighborhood small businesses, museums, and restaurants mixed with McKinley-created elements from classroom projects, teacher-featured experiences, and family-inspired items.

Silent auction bidding begins on April 15. The live online auction will take place on April 30 from 7pm to 9pm.
