In four weeks, we have raised

over $80,000 and have met three school goals!

McKinley students will be getting the Fruit Trees, the Mariachi Band, and the Classroom Dance Party! We are so close to reaching our fourth goal of a school mural!

We are also proud to announce, in collaboration with the McKinley Foundation and the JEDI committee, a fifth school goal:

the JEDI Library Project!

The JEDI Library will complement and enhance the IB curriculum with culturally-relevant reading materials for students and faculty, celebrate and highlight our community’s diversity and ensure that children and families of diverse backgrounds see themselves reflected and prioritized in both campus and curriculum, and build a permanent collection of high-quality, curated children’s literature that deepens the McKinley community’s understanding of and appreciation for a broad range of experiences and perspectives.

$60,000 – Plant Fruit Trees in the McKinley Garden (GARDEN)
$70,000 – Lunch-time Mariachi Band (SPANISH, MUSIC)
$80,000 – Classroom Dance Party (DANCE)
$90,000 – School Mural (ART)
$92,000 – JEDI Library Project

Help us reach this new fundraising goal and make this a record breaking Jog-A-Thon year!
