The McKinley Elementary Community remembers Ms. Pat Taylor, the founder of the school’s Independent Readers’ Book Club, who passed away this December 2020.
Former McKinley Student Emily Mattson, 19, recalls Ms. Pat’s Book Club as a “coveted program. To get an adult to give you individual attention about a book you read made you feel special,” Mattson said.
As a tribute to Ms. Pat’s volunteer spirit and her legacy in our children’s love for reading, please consider contributing to her charity of choice, Cure Epilepsy.
