McKinley Community,
The City of San Diego was on our campus this week to address some safety issues on the field. They leveled soil and replanted grass seed in specific areas. I was notified that our community needs to remain off the field and surrounding area for the next 6-8 weeks.
Each weekday morning, we will continue to open the gates so students can access campus, but gates will be secured at 3:15 each afternoon and there will be no access to our Joint Use field, playground structures, and playground.
This email will be sent to our McKinley Families, but I am asking that our families spread the word to neighbors and other community members via their personal social networks.
We will notify everyone when the park reopens to the public.
