Physical Education at Mckinley

Hello & Welcome Back!

I’m Donna Tennies the full-time physical education specialist on site at McKinley. Wow I can’t believe this will be my 24^th year teaching PE and I LOVE it everyday! I’ve been here for three years & really look forward to working with all the children both during our classes but also at recess & lunchtime. My classes will be TK through 4^th grade and Mrs. Audrey Black will be working with the 5^th grade classes, between us we see the whole school each week! We do have a room, B-21 that you can find me in most mornings or out on the field setting up for the days classes. Please feel free to introduce yourselves when you have a second and don’t be surprised if I do the same. This year I’m interested in getting to know parents a little better. A personal goal for me is to be in more regular contact with you during the school year to update you on what we are working on both physically & socially with your child.
