The 14th Annual Creek to Bay Cleanup sponsored by I Love A Clean San Diego is on Saturday, April 23rd! 
Join 6,000 volunteers for this countywide cleanup project as they help beautify 100 cleanup sites countywide. At last year’s event, volunteers removed 180,000 pounds of debris from a record number of cleanup sites countywide. Registration will open on April 1st at www.CreektoBay.org.
In North Park our community sites are North Park Community Park and South Park Switzer Canyon. Having a site out in your own community helps facilitate the clean-up of your neighborhood and allow the community to reach its full potential! It would be amazing to have you come out and support your neighborhood, or simply just spread the word!
When you register, consider taking the Bring Your Own (B.Y.O.) pledge, and make a commitment to bring at least one reusable cleanup item with you. Whether it’s a plastic bucket to hold trash, work gloves or a reusable water bottle, you’ll be able to help cut down on the amount of waste generated by such a large event. Each volunteer will need to have a signed waiver form (coming soon), and volunteers under the age of 18 will need an additional parent/guardian signature.
