CELEBRATING GIRLS & WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY AT SDSU

It’s that time of year again! SDSU invites kids to celebrate Girls & Women in Sports Day. This is a fun annual event. Kids in kindergarten through eighth grade can get free tickets to the event! Please note some changes from past years: A bus is no longer provided by the school. Tickets for chaperones are $7 each.
Doors open at Viejas arena at noon with hands on clinics for the kids to enjoy and learn more about athletic options that women and girls have at SDSU. Athletes from various women’s sports teams will be there beforehand to meet the kids and give them activities to try out. The game starts at 1:00pm when the SDSU women’s basketball team takes on Wyoming. There will be postgame autographs with the Aztec women’s basketball team. More information can be found online.
Ms Tennies has 60 printed tickets to distribute to those of you who know that you will be carpooling down with kids; tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.
