March 18th and 19th, McKinley will host two educators from the IB educator network. Their
visit will give us a chance to engage in reflective conversations about our ongoing programme development,as the team evaluates the school’s development of each IB standards, identifies and celebrates strengths, and offers suggestions for future areas of programme development.
On Tuesday, March 19th, we will host a school community meeting following their visit. The
school team,as well as the evaluators, will share the IB evaluation team report to our school
community. We invite you to join us for this School Community Meeting on Tuesday, March
19th from 4:00 – 4:30 in the library.
The school team and IB evaluation team share ownership of the meeting and strive to create a positive experience in which the school’s efforts to develop its IB programme are recognized and appreciated. The team will take care to present areas in need of further development diplomatically, showing an understanding and appreciation of the challenge that schools undertake to achieve IB standards.
