What makes McKinley Great?
Volunteers are paramount to McKinley PTC’s success and there are many ways to be involved.
Needless to say, committed volunteers are needed to plan every detail of annual events but showing up on the day of an event, when the greatest number of people are needed, is appreciated. McKinley PTC’s programs, events and activities are comprised of a range of options, as simple as stuffing envelopes after drop-off to leading the “biggest little festival” in North Park. Whatever your interests and schedule, you’ll find an opportunity to help, plus it’s a great way to get to know other parents and become part of the school community.
Please review the Parent Teacher Club and Volunteer Guide below for an in-depth description of McKinley PTC committees, events and activities where you could lend a hand or browse the Events or Programs tabs on the website. We are sure you will find something that piques your interest.
Once you decide that you’d like to be involved, visit the Volunteer Requirements page for details on what documents are needed to volunteer during the school year.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Any reference to live or onsite events in the Volunteer Guide is pre-pandemic. No onsite or gathering event will take place unless and until it is safe to do so. However, there are plans to modify and/or pivot events virtually during the pandemic and volunteers are needed and appreciated.
