Join us for a day of fun and fundraising for McKinley Elementary School! Our Spring Fundraiser (previously called the Spring Gala & Auction) is taking place on Saturday,April 29, 2023, and we’re excited to announce that this year’s event will be a scavenger hunt. The hunt will take you on a 1-2 mile journey through the neighborhood, with clues and challenges designed to engage elementary age participants. And, if you’re feeling extra creative, we encourage you to come dressed up as your favorite mythical creature!
Teams can register now for only $60 (up to four adults and unlimited kids) through April 23, with prices going up to $70/team starting on April 24. Make sure to buy your tickets soon at galabid.com/mckinley2023.

Tickets are on sale NOW for the Mythical Creatures Scavenger Hunt to support the McKinley Spring Fundraiser.
Gather your fellowship of unicorns, griffins, ogres, fairies, and more to embark upon a truly noble quest to save McKinley from an evil spell. You will need to follow the clues to collect the ingredients needed to create a special potion to break the spell.
When: Saturday, April 29th. The Scavenger Hunt start window is from 11:30am – 2:30pm. Your team can start anytime between these hours.
Where: Starting Point is at McKinley Elementary School
How Long: The scavenger hunt should take about 1-2 hours to complete and will cover a distance of 1-2 miles
How Difficult: The clues and game are designed to support our elementary age participants!
Attire: Costumes for MYTHICAL CREATURES are HIGHLY encouraged, but not required

Auction Items & Donations
Each year, we are able to auction a variety of different items, including class projects, teacher features and contributions from neighborhood small businesses, such as restaurants, salons, museums, etc. The committee is grateful for any contribution and requests details be provided in the online donation form located at: Auction Donation Form
Auction Items can take many forms and we welcome your creative ideas! If you think you have something to offer but aren’t sure, contact the Gala Committee before you submit a donation in the form.
We promote auction items on the Spring Fundraiser Social Media pages to garner interest & spotlight generous contributors. It’s an opportunity to get an inside look at what will be available at the auction. We also post about the fun things we are doing to plan the event to engage our followers.
