Disney’s Alice in Wonderland Jr. Audition Materials

Cast: Twenty-two lead and supporting roles to be cast from a pool of 5th, 4th and 3rd Graders.

For students interested in auditioning for the show, Alice in Wonderland Jr. songs and character descriptions are now available:

Copies of audition materials (lines & lyrics) will be available at auditions. All students auditioning should be familiar with the songs “I’m Late” and “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah.” Watch Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland” (1951) and school / theatre productions of Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland Jr.” online. Those auditioning for leads and supporting roles should refer to the Characters’ Descriptions in preparing for auditions.


Limited hard-copy registration forms are available in the school office. Please turn-in hard copies in the green PTC Lockbox in the school office by September 14, 3:30 pm. Online forms are due September 14 at midnight. Audition times and details will be emailed to registrants on September 16. Auditions will be held September 18 after school in the Auditorium or Room 5 (Main Bldg).

Stage Crew and Ushers

Stage Crew (Backstage): Up to six 5th Graders.
Ushers: 4th Graders.

Build Days are open to all McKinley Families! Build Days are for set-building and prop-making at school on scheduled Saturdays. Details to follow.

5th Grade and 4th Grade students interested in Stage Crew and Usher positions should submit a Crew application form and a one-paragraph essay on the topic, “Why I would like to participate in the McKinley Theatre Company show.” Essays must be written by the student, not a parent, guardian or other adult supervisor.
