McKinley families and neighbors are invited to help clean up our neighborhood! Families are welcome.
I Love A Clean San Diego’s 33rd annual Coastal Cleanup Day will be held Saturday, September 23rd, 2023. This year, some McKinley parent volunteers have registered us to be an official site in this county-wide event!
WHEN: Saturday, September 23rd between 9a – 12 noon
WHERE: Lawn in front of the Joint Use Park, along Felton St. (table will be set up)
Bring a water bottle, bucket or trash gab and a trash picker-upper (if you have one).
Meet in front of the Joint Use Park anytime between 9a and noon to check in, to pick up supplies for trash pickup (if needed), and to bring back the trash/recycling that you collect.
You will be asked to complete a waiver for ILACSD in order to participate. You can sign up in advance or just show up!
Let’s take action together to help our planet and keep our neighborhood clean! Bring a friend!
Note: This is not a McKinley school sponsored event, but an organized volunteer opportunity available to McKinley families. Wear your McKinley gear (SONO, JAT, etc.) to show spirit!
