COVID Test for Kids –
Sent home with each McKinley student before leaving for the holidays.
The District will send you voice or email reminder
Just in case… I will send one via School Messenger email reminder on the 31st as well

January 3rd, 2022 – Return to School!
Regular School Hours –
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – Gates open at 8:15, school days ends at 3:00
Thursdays – School ends at 12:15
No more Clear Pass for kids (as of Monday, January 3rd. That will save you a few minutes each morning)
Week of January 10th
Gate Entries – we are reducing the number of entry and exit points to three

Kinder Gate
Yoga Statue
Your child can enter via whatever gate is closest to their classroom and will be lining up on their classroom number. Teachers (especially of our littlest learners) will practice entry points, lining up at numbers, etc as appropriate.
Monday Morning Assemblies Resume – For those of you who are new to our McKinley community, we highlight one of the IB profiles and IB tickets are read aloud for children who have exhibited the IB Profile we’ve focused on that week.
Unfortunately, we still cannot have parents accompany their children onto campus. In the event of a positive COVID case, this would create a contact tracing nightmare.
