It was great to see so many new and familiar faces at the first McKinley PTC Meeting of the year!  The discussion and participation were very much appreciated.  The majority of the meeting centered on the transitions that will be necessary during the pandemic and the potential for a virtual after-school enrichment program. Copies of the meeting presentation can be found under the September 16th PTC Minutes page.

During the meeting, it was discussed that certain enrichment classes (garden, ceramics and/or music) may not be available during instructional time. However, there appears to be some interest in continuing these classes virtually after-school.  Please review the materials that were provided by the Garden and Music vendors on the PTC Minutes page.  They contain a brief overview of what their lessons would be like.  After your review please submit a response to the survey below.

Your participation and input are key to determining the programs that are funded by the McKinley PTC.  There are approximately 525 students and perhaps over 400 families at McKinley. Our goal is to obtain 250 or more individual responses to the survey.  Please tell your fellow McKinley “framilies” to submit a response.

The survey will close on Thursday, October 1st
