The 1st ever Fiesta McKinley is for all McKinley Families!
This Thursday, April 12, 3:00 – 6:30 PM, we will celebrate the cultures of Latin American countries through music, dance, art, craft-making and special presentations led by McKinley students. Kids are encouraged to wear Latin American clothing to school on Thursday: traditional costume pieces, fútbol jerseys, etc. with appropriate shoes for school activities.

Food trucks and artisanal vendors will donate a portion of Fiesta McKinley sales back to McKinley programs:

La Taqueria Veggiee (10% of the their Fiesta total)
Tortally Tasty Tortas ($1 from each meal plate)
Coronado Spice & Tea: Mexican mole and chocolates.
Artisanal clothing from Oaxaca, Chiapas and Cuernavaca.
Silver accessories and rebozo shawls from Guadalajara.
Hand-crafted purses from Puebla.

Food Trucks and Vendors: 3 – 6 PM.
Fiesta McKinley in the Auditorium: 4:30 – 6:30 PM.
