We’re very excited to welcome our new McKinley Families for the 2014-15 school year! Please note the following upcoming activities:
- New Student Summer Play Date (last one) is this Sunday, Aug. 24th, 4:00 p.m. at Montclair Park. Bring a snack to share and hang out with other McKinley families.
- Kindergarten Assessments: The K & 1st grade teachers will start calling parents this week, but appointments may go into next week. This is a very brief visit where the teachers ask the child a few questions. (Low stress, I promise.)
- New Student Orientation will be held on Friday, Aug. 29th, 11:00 am in the auditorium. This is for all new students and their parents. After the orientation presentation, the kindergarteners will learn their class assignments and have the opportunity to visit their classrooms. For all other grades, class assignments will be posted on Saturday, Aug. 30th, in the office window.
