Join our McKinley families and North Park community on Friday, May 9th from 5:30pm to 8:00pm in the school auditorium to enjoy live entertainment. So far Las Quatros Milpas, Tamales Ancira, Northgate Gonzales Market in Barrion Logan and Pancho Villa Farmers Market are donating beans, rice and tamales, but we need more donations! During and after dinner, enjoy live performances from our McKinley students doing traditional Mexican folk dancing. We are trying to get Mariachis to come and donate an hour performance as well. Please email us if you have any Mariachi connections.
Cinco de Mayo commemorates the victory of Mexico over the French army at the battle of Puebla in 1862. This has become a very popular celebration in the United States. Come help us celebrate Hispanic Culture and History and our school community.
