This is the 8th year the Miller family has been oraganizing a Grand Stand for pediatric cancer research! Folks come from far and wide to drink some lemonade, listen to some music from local bands, learn about the Foundation, and what they can do to help. The event will be from 10am-6pm on the corner of 32nd and Thorn Street in the neighborhood of North Park, San Diego, 92104 and will be part of the following businesses: RIPE, Mooch Nursery, Thorn Street Brewery, Hell in a Handbag Boutique, and Rusty Gold Designs.
They will have a live broadcast all day with FM 94.9 and Legoland Resort Park Hopper tickets (normally $99) will be available while supplies last. There is an amazing silent auction with prizes such as hotel stays, balloon rides, concert tickets and much more. There will be live local bands (Hit Dog Hollar, Blackout Party and School of Rock), STAR WARS, lemonade, give-a-ways and face painitng! You can also stop by the educational table to learn more about this amazing foundation!
So far they have raised over $65,000 in our efforts over the last 7 years!
